Listen to the radio broadcast below to hear Human Growth Hormone expert Dr Richard F Walker talk at length about Semorelin
Although human growth hormones are produced naturally in our body, the levels decline as we get older. Growth hormone therapy and the use of growth hormone supplements are a logical way to bring these up to youthful levels, resulting in numerous benefits to mind and body.
Human growth hormone is commonly known as HGH. It’s also known as the master hormone – such is its importance in cell rejuvenation. Growth hormone therapy using growth hormone supplements such as the most widely known – HGH - can have a number of side effects if unmonitored and in too great a quantity. This is why we have the development of sermorelin; a small peptide molecule that stimulates the body to naturally produce human growth hormones, rather than just adding from an external source.
HGH has the ability to reduce subcutaneous fat – fat found just below the skin. It also increases lean muscle mass, enables faster repair to damaged parts of the body, increases stamina and promotes a general increase in rate of metabolism.
In 1990, tests by a team of researchers from the medical college in Wisconsin-Milwaukee found that HGH had an effect on ageing. By supplementing HGH into the test group of men aged 61 – 81 years old for six months, researchers noted reversals of the ageing process benchmarked by between 10 to 20 years.
These benefits are however, offset by a number of negative issues. The anabolic effects of supplemented HGH in the body mean the drug is categorised as a performance enhancer – therefore banned from many sporting bodies.
HGH is strictly prescribed in USA and only in limited circumstances. By taking supplements unmonitored, organs like the heart, liver and kidneys may undergo excessive growth which could lead to life threatening conditions such as cardiomyopathy – a disease of the heart muscle. The abnormal growth of cells may also increase the risk of certain cancers developing.
Excessive amounts of HGH can also lead to a condition called Acromegaly. This is where the soft tissues swell visibly resulting in the enlargement of hands, feet, nose, lips and ears and a general thickening of skin, which if left untreated, can prove fatal.
Sermorelin for purchase is something completely different from HGH. Sermorelin stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and secrete HGH. Sermorelin binds to the cells that produce and release HGH, and once bound, initiates its action the same way as naturally occurring human hormone. However, it has the benefit of being regulated by the body - increasing the level while avoiding excessive amounts flooding the system.
The benefits of increased HGH levels remain – reduced subcutaneous fat, increased muscle mass and increased stamina, but without the negative effects of simply supplementing the human hormone.
Safety and regulation is enhanced by sermorelin also triggering the release of somatostain. This is a growth hormone inhibitor (also known as GHIH or as somatotropin release inhibiting factor – SRIF ). These are peptides whose role is to regulate the endocrine system – the vital system of glands which are responsible for secreting different hormones with a variety of roles into our bodies. In this case, the stimulated part of the pituitary gland – a pea sized structure that is located near the base of the brain which has the vital function of regulating the endocrine system.
Somastatin works to ensure that HGH is at a healthy level, regulating the amount to safely avoid side effects.
By stimulating the pituitary gland, sermorelin preserves more of the growth hormone neuroendocrine axis. This axis is the first to fail during ageing and by preserving it, a more youthful outer-body and a youthful physiology can be attained. It can also aid sleep by promoting non-REM slow wave sleep – or deep sleep which plays a vital role in our overall well being.
Sermorelin is easy to administer; a dropper full each evening, held under the tongue for 60 seconds before swallowing, is all that’s required. Through this simple process, HGH levels can be increased safely - bringing many benefits.

Do you know of any studies demonstrating that oral administration of Sermorelin does produce higher levels of HGH?
A small study has been done but we are not yet allowed to release results pending its publication. Dr. Walker has talked about this subject in some detail however in his latest interview which is uploaded here: http://www.antiaging-systems.com/articles/273-interview-with-dr-richard-walker
