Youth Gems® Body Milk for widespread topical application

This body milk has been designed to be specifically lightweight and easy to apply across large areas of the body, including the arms, legs and neck. It works by fighting against the loss of skin elasticity that occurs during aging.

The peptide technology used in the Youth Gems® range incorporates the very latest in peptide based topical skin aesthetic medicine- preparations.

Full Youth Gems® Range

The Youth Gems® range consists of 5 different peptide based topical skin applications.

• Body milk – this is a light cream that can be used regularly across the body, including larger areas such as the neck, legs and arms.
• Day cream – this cream is designed to be used on the face and hands to improve blood supply and create a more elastic skin condition. It can be used in conjunction with Body Milk.
• Night cream – designed to be used specifically at night. Topical application to the face and hands.
• Serum – Youth Gems® serum has been designed to be used sparingly in certain places, such as the face and hands, to target fine lines.
• Tonic – Youth Gems Tonic is a cleanser that can be used on all areas of the body. It helps to make the skin taut.

All products in the Youth Gems® range can be used in conjunction with each for an all-round approach to creating a more youthful appearance.

All products should be kept away from the eyes. Do not ingest.

Combining Youth Gems® Products

Youth Gems® products target all areas of the body. As such, combining them creates an overall strategy towards more youthful skin. An example of this could be:

Daytime

Use Body Milk, Tonic and Day Cream in conjunction for cleansing and firming. Make up can be applied after.

Evening

Tonic and Serum can be used together to cleanse, followed by the Night Cream.

Youth Gems® Ingredients

Each Youth Gems® application contains 4 specific short chain peptide bioregulators; these are from the:

• Cartilage
• Blood vessels
• Thymus gland
• Pineal gland

Each product in the range contains all 4 short-chain peptides as well as a ginseng extract called Neovitin® that acts as a strong antioxidant.  This complex program of skin care products acts across all basic skin structures to improve skin condition across the face, neck, hands and body.

The History of Peptide Based Skin Care Products

Professor Vladimir Khavinson from the St. Petersburg Biogerontology Institute in Russia first discovered short-chain peptides in the 1980s and has conducted a wide range of research into this area since. Since it was discovered that human DNA and short-chain peptides are linked, peptide skin care has been a growing field to reduce the visible signs of aging.

We looked above at the peptides contained in the Youth Gems® range; these come from the cartilage, blood vessels, pineal gland and thymus gland.

• Cartilage peptide – this helps to stimulate and strengthen collagen structures.
• Blood vessel peptide –helps to regulate the metabolic processes in the vascular walls.
• Pineal gland peptide – this helps to regulate metabolic processes, increasing protein synthesis in the skin cells.

Test Results and Clinical Trials

Testing and clinical trials that have taken place at the St. Petersburg Biogerontology Institute have shown that skin cells benefit from the application of topical skin care products that utilise peptide technology.

Testing using Youth Gems® Products

Using a thermal imaging method, Youth Gems products were tested to see improvements in blood flow levels over the course of 7 days.
