Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone produced by the human placenta and its presence is detected by some pregnancy tests. The pituitary analog of hCG is known as luteinizing hormone (LH) and it is produced by the pituitary gland in both males and females of all ages
Whilst the medical world recognises hCG as a hormone that assists the production of the hormone progesterone and is often utilised in pregnancy, its main off-label use has been focused on its ability to aid dieting and fat loss, specifically for ‘thinning’ and it is effective for both men and women.
Its dieting aid was originally discovered Dr. Albert Simeons in the UK as early as the 1950s. He saw that dieters who added hCG to their program had significantly improved weight loss, particularly reduction in visceral and subcutaneous fat within just a 40-day period.
As a result, today, hCG is utilised in many leading weight loss (bariatric) clinics around the world.
hCG works best when it is combined with a reduced calorie diet and exercise program. It can often produce additional benefits faster than normal, thus helping the patient to continue/ stay on the weight loss program, i.e. it helps to prevent early drop-outs as results are seen earlier than normal.
Note: hCG is usually supplied in injectable form and occasionally in intranasal form. As a molecular chain of 237 amino acids it is ineffective when taken orally or sublingually. Many suppliers offer homeopathic hCG, however HCGpro™ contains a synthetically produced preparation of pharmaceutical quality, it mimics human hCG and it is delivered via the nose in spray form.
HCGpro can be used by simply spraying one or two puffs into the nose daily. Each 5ml container contains 50 sprays/ doses each one equivalent to 5IU.
Caution: hCG should be avoided by pregnant or lactating women, (unless under the guidance of your physician) and not used by children. In the case of males, prolonged treatment can lead to increased production of androgen. Ergo, patients who are suffering from cardiac issues, hypertension, renal dysfunction, migraines or epilepsy should consult with their physician before use.
