Cabergoline works to stimulate desire by increasing the levels of Dopamine in the brain and decreasing prolactin levels. In this way, level of arousal is increased and also the urge to be intimate with a partner.
Cabergoline has also been seen to have antidepressant effects, promoting a positive state of mind, and has also been used in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease.
