ThyroidPro™ tablets all include the full range of thyroid hormones, from the other “forgotten” T1 and T2 as well as T3 and T4. Porcine origin thyroid extract is bioidentical to human thyroid hormone, which makes it preferable to many. Please note that all thyroid hormone options that contain porcine extract thyroid are NOT suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
We would always recommend speaking to your clinician or GP before deciding on a dosage or switching to a different product. This will enable you to understand the dosage you need in mcg of a synthetic thyroid hormone so you can choose the right Grain (mg) option of natural desiccated thyroid.
Typically, 1 grain is the equivalent of 60mg. This is also the rough equivalent of 100mcg of a synthetic alternative.
