IAS Shipping & Handling Policy

  1. IAS will ship the product and accept payment upon shipping, according to the option chosen by the Buyer upon checkout. When you request product, you are also requesting membership of our product club: 1p/€0.01/$0.01 of your order pays for a year’s membership of The IAS Product Club. We then deal with your product request as a member - so we are not dealing with the 'public'.
  2. I Standard shipping: This service is a 1st class international airmail shipment. Your order will be packed and shipped within 3-working days of its receipt. Typically then a delivery time is 10-14 days after order and obviously varies on the country of its destination.
  3. I Priority shipping: This service is a 1st class international airmail shipment. Your order will be packed and shipped within 1-working days of its receipt. Typically then a delivery time is 7-10 days after order and obviously varies on the country of its destination.
  4. I Courier services for product shipments are NOT recommended and will only be undertaken if the Buyer has met IAS courier release paperwork requirements. All charges including freight and taxes must be met by the Buyer', including all return costs if the Products have to be returned to IAS. Note: A charge of $15 is levied for completion of courier paperwork.
  5. I To protect against possible losses in the mail, insured services can be added to any of the above options. The three current value brackets are up to $500, up to $1000 and up to $2000.
  6. I IAS is not held responsible for any losses in the mail, unless the Buyer requested and purchased a registered service (as above). However the Buyer must allow a period of 14 days after the ship date as indicated on the Dispatch Note. In the event of a claim under the registered service, an officially confirmed mailing loss will result in the Products being shipped for a second and final time. The tracking process by the registered service could take several weeks.
  7. I Courier services for Product shipments are NOT recommended and will only be undertaken if the Buyer has met IAS courier release paperwork requirements. All charges including freight and taxes must be met by the Buyer', including all return costs if the Products have to be returned to IAS.
  8. I In the event of the Products being detained by a foreign Customs authority, the Buyer must provide evidence to IAS for their confirmation of importation, i.e. a prescription and copies of communication with Authorities etc. In such an event the Buyer should contact IAS before committing to any course of action, including the return of any Products. If Authorities retain the Products, the loss rests with the Buyer. In the event that the Products are returned by Customs, then when the Products are received at IAS they may be reshipped again, or be subject to a Product(s) Credit Note or Refund as per the conditions in section 7.
  9. I If the Buyer adjusts an Order before the Products are shipped then the adjustments will be accepted, (providing there is no financial difference, otherwise only Products Credit Note(s) for other Products may be issued). A part refund request by the Buyer is subject to the conditions in section 6.
  10. I If the Buyer wants to stop or adjust an Order after payment has been processed, but before the Products have been shipped, it is subject to a charge of $50. To be clear the credit card will be fully refunded. However please note: IAS reserves the right to charge a rehandling fee of a minimum of $50 which must be paid by check or postal order before doing business with this member again.
  11. I If the Buyer wishes to return Products, (except under the circumstances in section 7) as long as the Products are sent by the Buyer within 7 days of receipt and received by IAS in a good, unopened, resalable condition with an expiry date more than 12 months validity, a Product Credit Note can be issued, plus a charge for reshipping. If the Buyer requires a full or part refund then a 50% restocking fee is applicable, (applied only to Products, not Shipping and Handling which is non-refundable) or a minimum of $50, whichever is the greater. To be clear the credit card will be fully refunded. However please note: IAS reserves the right to charge a rehandling fee of a minimum of $50 which must be paid by bank check or postal order before doing business with this member again.
  12. I If IAS has shipped the wrong Products or Products have arrived in a damaged condition due to incorrect packaging, then the package and Products must be returned to IAS for inspection, (always contact IAS before undertaking any action). If the fault is identified and agreed, IAS will reship the Products a second and final time. A refund or part refund is subject to the conditions in section 7.
