Graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine and trained at the University of California, San Francisco, Harvard Medical School and UCLA School of Medicine. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Anaesthesiology, a charter member and the secretary of A4M and a member of the Gerontological Society of America.
