Chemical:
Glycoprotein extracted from Klebsiella pneumoniae. Biostim ® is a pharmaceutical product to bring about immunostimulant activity. Its results have been especially seen in numerous experimental tests in three areas of defense against infection.

Phagocytosis:
These activate macrophages and stimulate polymorphous nucleates. This activity has been proven on live animals and on human cells in vitro.
Humor Immunity:

Recommendations:
Biostim ® is recommended for- Adults- Preventative treatment in the processes of relapse and further infections of chronic bronchial ailments.
Children- Preventative treatment of chronic recurring respiratory infections (of at least 2 years duration or following a tonsillectomy).
Directions:
The plan of treatment of three 8 day cycles with three week intervals between each cycle. The dosage is 2 tablets per day during the first cycle, and 1 tablet per day during the second and third cycles.

1. Take 2 Biostim ® tablets per day for 8 days (total of 16 tablets) Three week interruption
   
2. Take 1 Biostim ® tablet per day for 8 days (total of 8 tablets) Three week interruption
   
3. Take 1 Biostim ® tablet per day for 8 days (total of 8 tablets) The tablets are to be swallowed whole without chewing them, preferably in the morning and on an empty stomach.
   

Contraindications:
Biostim ® is not to be taken in the case of autoimmune illness. - It should not be given to children of less than a year old. - Although embryotoxic or teratogenic effects have not been seen in animal experimentation, it's use is not recommended during pregnancy.
