MILGAMMA ® MONO 50

Ingredients:
50.0 mg Benfotiamin per tablet

Ingredients:
Corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, polyvinol K25, Arabic gum, titanium dioxide (E171), glucose syrup, white clay, macrogol 6000, carboxymethyl cellulose sodium, magrogol glycerolhydroxystearat, calcium carbonate, natriumdodecylsulphate, montanglycolwachs

  • Does not contain lactose

Description:
Milgamma ® mono 50 is used to prevent and treat Vitamin B1 deficiencies if it was not possible to remove this deficiency through nutrition. For example:
1) Poor nutrition

  • Diet and fasting
  • Unbalanced nutrition (e.g. Wernicke's disease, alcoholic cardiomyopathy,
  • Malabsorption
  • Parenteral nutrition

2) Increased need
3) Hemodialysis

Side effects:
Do not use milgamma ® mono 50 if you are hypersensitive towards Benfotiamin or thiamine. In special cases the patient can show a hypersensitive reaction (skin rash, nettle rush). If you show symptoms of any side effects stop using this product and contact your doctor.

Use during pregnancy and nursing:
This medicine is to be used during pregnancy and nursing only for a measured serious Vitamin B1deficiency and should be stopped as soon as the Vitamin B level is back to normal.

Dosage:
If no other regimen is recommended by the attending doctor,

  • 1-2 tablets weekly as prevention
  • 1-3 tablet daily as treatment

To be swallowed whole with a small volume of water.
