Dose

Recommended dose for an adult is 850 mg. pill a day at bedtime. The dose can be safely increased up to 4 pills per day. The dose for small children is not established. Can be taken by pregnant women.

Toxicity

V-1 does not effect cell viability as tested in laboratory conditions. Tests in rats and mice indicate that V-1 does not cause acute toxicity or mortality at doses as high as 1.9kg of V-1 per day a dose equivalent to 2,200 pills per day. (Note: even an ordinary table salt can cause more harm if 1.9 kg of salt is consumed daily).

Stability

V-1 is stable up to 3 years. The expiration date of each list is stamped on the blister package and outside of the cardboard box. Protect from moisture and direct sun exposure. Does not require refrigeration.

Adverse Reactions

Shortly after V-1 administration about 9% of patients may experience flu-like symptoms accompanied by muscle, bone or joint pain; some patients may experience diarrhea; other symptoms are nausea and headaches. Most of these symptoms are mind transient, they usually disappear within first week after V-1 intake.

Quality of life improvement

About 85% of patients on V-1 therapy usually report a noticeable improvement of their symptoms. Most common improvements are better sense of well-being, enhanced energy, increase in appetite and healing of skin lesions and wounds.

Weight Gain

When V-1 is taken by patients with HIV / Aids it may reverse weight loss. At least 60% of patients will experience weight gain.

Clinical indications

Uptake of V-1 can increase absolute numbers of CD4 and CD8 lymphocytes and can also result in decrease in viral load. V-1 may also prolong survival of patients with HIV / Aids.

Normalization of liver function

V1 may normalize the malfunction of the liver as frequently seen in patients with hepatitis. Elevated levels of aspartate (AST/SGOT) and alanine (ALT/SGPT) aminotransferases, as well as bilirubin and alkaline phosphate may return back to normal levels after about one month of therapy.

Opportunistic infections

A significant proportion of patients may notice the reduced incidence of opportunistic infections, especially fungal growth on the tongue and oral cavity caused by Candida albicans.

Contraindications

No adverse complications have been observed when V1 was taken in combination with other food supplements or drugs such as anti-viral drugs.
