Chemical:
Xanthinol Nicotinate

Excipients:
2-ml vials: distilled water, 3-ml vials distilled water, 10-ml vials: distilled water, 150-mg tablets: microgranular cellulose, cornstarch, talc, sodium stearate, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, sodium lauryl sulphate, precipitate silica, 300-mg tablets ("forte"): microgranular cellulose, talc, sodium stearate, cornstarch, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, sodium lauryl sulphate, precipitate silica. 100 ml of drops: p-oxybenzoate of methyl sodium salt, p-oxybenzoate of propyl sodium salt, bitter orange aroma, distilled water. Each delayed-action pill: Eudragit S (acrylic resins), magnesium stearate, talc, sugar, gum arabic, beeswax.

Pharmaceutical Classification:
Complamin is a peripheral vasodilator.

Recommendations:
Coadjutant in the treatment of peripheral vascular problems.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity towards the product, cardiac decompensation, acute hemorrhaging, cerebral infarction, acute myocardial infarction (this product is not recommended in the case of coronary insufficiency due to the danger of myocardial infarction), vascular collapse, association with MAO inhibitor or ganglioplegic treatment, gastroduadenal ulcer in it's evolutionary phase, pregnancy (as a precautionary measure).

Precautions:
In the case of prolonged use and high dosage, control the glycaemia of diabetics and closely supervise those patients with serious hyperuricaemia or with serious hepatic insufficiency (transaminase alkaline phosphates). Complamin has no hypotensive action on a long-term basis and therefore does not exclude specific treatment of arterial hypertension. In patients with low pressure, treatment should be strictly controlled. Upon initiating parental treatment, it is advisable to check the patient's circulation.

Directions for use:
Take 1 or 2 tablets (150mg each) three times a day, during or immediately after meals with liquid. Depending on the individual clinical case, the oral dosage may be increased or preceded by treatment with Complamin vials or Complamin infusion, or the two methods may be combined. Complamin drops, take 20 to 30 drops three times daily or before or after meals. 30 drops equals 300mg Complamin.

Unpleasant side effects:
A reddening of the skin and a hot feeling have been reported, especially at the beginning of treatment, and these side effects can vary according to the individual. While, in general, such reactions are temporary, it is thought that the patient should be made aware of them should they occur. Cases have also been reported of itching, erythema, and although rarely, arterial hypertension. Consult your physician should you note any unpleasant side effect not mentioned here.

Storage:
Discard this product once the expiry date has been passed. Keep out of the reach of children.
